The Problem of Truth in the Sciences of Culture, Performantica Publishing House, Iaşi, 2007

Over 210 pages, a complex scrutiny of the concept of truth is developed in its relations with the sciences of culture: aesthetics, ethics, theology, philosophy, sociology. Diverse approaches are considered from an epistemological and logical point of view, by using the phenomenological method. In this framework, the intentionality is conceived as direction, respectively as a topographical value.
Philosophically, the truth represents a value category of different types and manners of knowledge, like: the scientific, the common, and the artistic one; consequently, the logical-formal concept of truth is taken in the function of analyzing the science data. In its entirety, the book offers some basic explanations, engaging both the axiological and the normative dimensions of the truth.
